I have been working on this Red XIII species here http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r284/Sajira_album/untitled.jpg for almost a week and I have it working in the game but it shows up as a regular cheetah with this new skin but the mesh isn't working. Everything else works I just can't gat the mesh to work. I have fallowed every tutorial I could find but none of them explain how to fix this. I used the APE II tutorial and it works but for some reason I can't get the mesh to work.
Any suggestions cuz this is my first animal and I really want it to work.

did you use blender?
-
No I used the DXT thing the unicorn was made on and I fallowed Littlemog's tutorial to the letter. Still isn't working...
-
The mesh is not going to be something easy for us to explain to you. The only resource we have right now is Littlemog's tutorial. APE II can't help you with that problem
-
O well sorry then I will continue to mess withit and figure it out but the tutorial was vague on what to do once you finish editing the mesh. I saved it and put it in the entities animal file but I must be doing something wrong.
-
It's possible you coded it wrong too. Specifically, how did you code the bfm files?

I know this is :offtopic: but how do you get the skin on the nifscope file?
-
have it in the same file location as the NIF or select it by selecting the purple icon in the left panel stuff and navigate to it
-
Great, I Just have one Question how do you see vigrent skins on nifscope.
-
Click the purple flowery icon in the left panel and select the varient file instead of the main skin.
