Winzip Problem

I'm trying to recolor, and I can't use WinZip for some reason. Can I still recolor if I can't use it? Plus, there are supposed to be these files in the 1033 folder in the lang file, but I only see one document, and it's not a folder. Am I supposed to open it, and can I do so with any other programs? In other words, HEEEEELP MEEEEE!
