Gestation Period
« on: June 03, 2006, 12:25:17 PM »
Hi guys, i was wondering if you could code for something like gestation period, when i am trying to experiment with breeding animals, i wish they would breed faster, and produce more babies, and no, i don't mean the codding for more babies, but just shorten the time it takes for the babies to be born, thanks

Yeah, me too. I found out how to increase/decrease the time it takes for an animal to grow from young to adult and (following the guides on this site) I know how to increase the number of babies, preferred biomes and lifespan of the animals themselves.

I just need the gestation...

Sorry to bump an old topic but ive found how to alter the gestation of animals

in the animal .tsk file

line reads

                  BFAIToken Name="t_Pregnant" GiveTo="subject" Timein="989.05" Timeout="-1"/
(for chimp)

BFAIToken Name="t_Pregnant" GiveTo="subject" Timein="121.26" Timeout="-1"/ (for flamingo)

BFAIToken Name="t_Pregnant" GiveTo="subject" Timein="2728.42" Timeout="-1"/
(africanelephant)

so altered  dora's elmer elephant to read the same as the flamingo and bingo fast preganancy Now i dont know what the individual figures actually mean but  elmeress got preganant and had her babies (yes ive given her multiple preganancy) with 2 days of getting pregnant
