DD files

hi, i heard that we cannot open the dd files. this is so we can not redistribute the game(illegally) ourselves. but i am confused about which files we cannot open, because i just opened the file labeled PDLC1 which is the .ztf file in the folder labeled 1100_1.0 which is located in the zootycoon_com_zt2_1033 downloads folder. i opened it with winRar does this mean i can now edit the files for DD?

you might of opened it but check the files inside the opened file - they are all blank and moving this as it is not general discussion.
