How do I change something in WinHEX?
« on: November 01, 2006, 05:21:20 PM »
Sorry if this is the wrong forum.

I am trying to recolor an animal. I followed APEII and opened the main .nif file in WinHEX. I found the link that I need to edit to get the skin working, but I can't edit it. :crying:  What's going on? Thanks anyone who helps.

I think that is one of the settings you have to change in the actual program, I had it happen at one point. I think you can go to Options> Edit Mode, and if read only is selected select something like default edit mode. hope that helps.

Or right click on the file you are trying to edit, go to properties and unclick the read only box.
