Dl Files

I would greatly appreciate it and i am sure alot of other peaople would aswell, if everyone included a dl file with there animals, objects, this has only become a problem after ape II was released, if you don't know how to make a dl file i would be glad to tell you how

i con't make them from scratch so i edit existing one, so say you are making a Llama

i am going to choose the first dl folder i find, so i find say Martin1990s vendor, the dl floder contains a line like this



ok so i change it to



then click save as, change it to all files and save it as Llama.dl, and then it can be placed with you z2f, just look into your downloads folder so see where everything goes

how do I open dl files? I can't open them with winzip or winrar.

OK, I always make Dl files, but what are they needed for?

they make your animal show up in the dl's list

thanks gibbon for that useful information am closing and pinning this for creators. (i always make my own dl files for creators who havent done so also i make a folder for each creator to put their stuff into so it makes it easier for me when i am testing things out)
