Today I was playing zoo tycoon 2 and I noticied something wieerd with my bullfrog. The variiant skin of the frog was the one i made and it was a female. when her eggs hatched they were all the game color, not 1 of my skins. Do babies not have any variants or something? Or is it that variants dont get passed down?
-
Babies cannot have any varients. It is unfortunate, but it is not possible to have them. Even Official Variants don't work on babies. Sorry.
-
So when the babies grow to adult they will have the game skin, not the variant. So basicly the only for the animal to be in a variant skin is to adopt one. So babies will have the orginal game skin, that :censor.
A lot of the younger viewers aren't allowed that word.

I belive so. I bred about fifty million animals with both parents having the same varient and the veriant never ever showed up.

:heaster1
Speaking about varients...the white tiger...someone had told me that I would have to adopt a group of tigers in order to get a white one. I tried it last night with over 100 bengal tigers both male and female and I never got a white one. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? :erm

It should work, but you have to have ES, do you?
-
It would also depend on your graphics settings as to whether you'll be able to see the variant skins
-
You can adopt 1 tiger and get a white one, but you graphics should be medium to high and you must have ES to get one. Also, the chancves of getting one are roughly 33%. :happy

:D :wtg
Well that makes sense, I do have ES but my settings are at low because I have a poopy video card. Thank You!
