'graphics' Problem With Zt2, Did It Happen To U?

Sorry for my chatspeak up there, It wouldnt let me fit 'you'.

Anyways.

When you first downloaded Zoo Tycoon 2 and clicked Play, did anything pop up that said something along the lines of "You have some grahpics issues- you cannot play"?

On a different computer, I tried downloading Zoo Tycoon 2 and for a day it said "You have grahpic issues' You cannot play", but after a day or so, I could! Does anyone have have any experience of that kind of thing happening?

No, never had that problem with ZT2!
How old is your PC? If it is two years older than the release date of the game, this could be an issue.

Another game played by someone else had this problem, yet it allowed him to keep playing. It eventually shut down his hard drive! Could be a small problem I would think.

yes that is exactally what happened to mine! What it means is that ur graphics card is not up to date with the game and what u need to do is to go to a pc store with yiur harddrive and your game and tell them what happened. They should tell u about some graphics card and if u say so they will put a new graphics card in. but the catch is it costs about 85-120 $ :><

You can also just update your graphics card drivers, probably. A lot cheaper! ALSO, MS has a 'fix' for graphics cards that are not compatible. (Sorry, I can't tell you exactly where, though). :blush  Try the Zoo Tycoon website.

Personally (from my long experience), I would NOT continue playing until it's resolved, since, as said above, it CAN DAMAGE your hard drive, and that's a LOT of $$$! :shocked

yeah, buying a graphics card can...  ... can cost a fortune.
