Black/grey Screen On Start Up (mac)

Whenever i start up zoo tycoon 2 on my iBook G4 (the latest model) it loads the full screen, the zoo tycoon yellow arrow pops up, but then it disappears and the game stays on the grey screen. I have reinstalled it about 4 times but each time it does the same thing. I have double checked all the system requirements and it meets them all. I also tried to load it on our iMac and it worked fine, no problems at all. Any ideas??

Well. I have a mac, and I have a G4. It's never happened to me. Have you restarted your computer?

ive reinstalled and restared about 10 times, it works on the old g4 its weird

I think sometimes that can happen if the screen resolution doesn't match with the game resolution.  If it's different, try changing the iBook's resolution to what your old G4 is set to.

If you're using OS X, try booting off of your OS X disk and running disk utility.  Try repairing the drive and the permissions.  That can fix problems sometimes.

You might also want to try running Software Update for Tiger, if you haven't done that yet.
