I am trying to install ZT2: ES on a different computer, and it installs perfectly and I'm sure I have a good enough graphics card.  Whenever I try to play a zoo, black patches appear all over the ground and even some of the ground doesn't show up.  I have a sample pic to show you what I am talking about: This particular picture is one where the ground just completely goes away.  If someone has had this problem, or knows how to fix it, would somebody please help me?  


And also, would a mod move this into the ZT2 support section?  Sorry for the inconvience.  :blush

EDIT:  Also there is a little black patch in the corner near the clear patch.

I had a similar problem when I first tried to install ZT2. In my case none of the animals and most of the buildings/objects were missing from the menu as well.

I reinstalled it twice to no avail before I finally tracked down the problem - the CD had a small black bit of grit stuck to it so that it couldn't copy the relevant files from the disc. After cleaning the disc and reinstalling it worked fine.

EDIT - sorry didn't see the bit saying you'd installed it on a different computer before...this may not be that helpful then :8

I really need this problem fixed, or else the YAFI zoo I have been working on for ya'll will be gone :sad

From the looks of your pic it is graphic card related. Try adjust ing the graphics settings to different settings low, medium, high and see if that helps. If you are still having the same problem then the card may need to be upgraded.

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I didn't know where else it could go.  I tried to download the Zt2:Es from the microsoft site.  Everytime I download it though, it says it is not a valid Win32 Application.  This has already happened to me 3 times.  I would really like to try it before I go out and by the game.  If you know why it keeps saying this or how I can fix it, it would be much appreciated.
