AA Installation Problems @_@!
« on: September 17, 2006, 07:46:19 PM »
Okay, I got a new computer and need to reinstall ZT2, but when I get to installing AA, I get an error which says this:

536870913: Internal Error in Windows Installer
1607: Unable to install InstallShield Scripting Runtime

And the installation process closes. Anyone have a solution to this?

Well, that hasn't happened to me, but try uninstalling ZT2, then try to install them again. Hope this works!

I would uninstall ZT2, then restart your computer. Reinstall all of the ZT2 stuff, and make sure your AA disc is clean. Then retry installing it.

Well, I finally got through with the InstallShield problems, but now ZT2 won't even open:
Zoo Tycoon 2 Executable has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Do you have anything in the wrong folder, if so it can crash your game like that. It's happened to me before, I checked the folders and an animal folder was in the wrong folder. Check to see if that's the problem.
