Hello! I have had Zoo tycoon 2 for awile and i decided to start a story. My first story is THE SAHARA DESERT! Here it is,,,,, Hello, i'm my name is michelle ( that's not ny real name ) And i work at a local zoo in New York City! I am a geographic photogerpher. And since the city doesn't have much wildlife, the zoo has ordered me to go to the sahara desert and bring back some pictures ( and possibly some animals ) back to the zoo! So i packed my bags and got on the plane to start my Adventure!!!!!
The pictures will arrive very shortly, I just have to figure out how to post pics!
-
could somebobdy tell me how to post pics.... Cuz i cant figure out how topost my adventures pics!!!
-
easist way: post on internet.press the print screen button, then go to paint or infranveiw paste your pic on there, save, then post on image shack (http://****/?x=my5&myref=****/)
or internet hosting of your choice. theres also a posting pics turiorel, here (http://zoo.ogresnet.com/forums/showthread.php?t=552)
-
Beagleboy is correct. Please read the sticky topics on posting pictures.
-
Ok! Thanks! I will try that! The pics will only take a few min. So stay tuned!
-
oK !!! I have figured out how to post pics!!!! Thanks to beagleboy and Bielski!
But,,,,, There's a problem. There is something wrong with the sahara desert pics. So, i can't post the desert story. But, instead, I just created an Awesome zoo! And the pics will be up shortly! Sorry for the incovienance!
-
whats wrong?
-
Well, when i tried to import my photo album to html, my photos dissaperad for some reason! Weard!
-
I hope you get it figured out - if you don't have pictures to show for the "Show and Tell" topics, I'm afraid someone will close this thread :crying:
Please don't hesitate to ask if you have additional questions.
-
I am getting the pics, i have just been REALLY busy lately! I'm posting them TODAY! I promise!!!!!!
-
That's fine, I just wanted to make sure you figured out how to post pics, and was offering assistance if you needed some.
-
Ummmmmm, i do, need some assistance pleas. I don't really understand the instructins
-
i dont send pics to HTML, becuase i have no idea how were they are, instead, take a picture, veiw, then press print screen on the keyborad, then paste on paint or anthor program.
-
Have you got the pictures onto imageshack? Or is there a problem before then?
-
go to a site like Photobucket, and upload your pics. Then, copy and paste the given URL for each pic into your post, and you've created a link! Hope that helps.
If you're having problems saving the pics to your computer, go to the in-game photo album and click the button in the middle with a photo album and an arrow. that will open your pics in a browser window. Right click to save them.
-
The way I do it is take pictures in game, and then put them in my photo album. Then, if you are in full-screen mode, hit Alt-Tab to get to your desktop again, and go to either
Start > All Programs > Microsoft Games > Zoo Tycoon 2 > Zoo Tycoon 2 Profiles
OR
C:\Documents and Settings\(Your Name Here)\Application Data\Microsoft Games\Zoo Tycoon 2\
then click your name or "default" to get to your saved games/photos. Then go to "photos" and the pics you have just taken will be in the newest album number (assuming that you have saved the pictures to your most recently created album). For instance, I have 15 albums, and my newest pics get put into folder "album15". Then scroll through, find the pictures you want to upload in there. From here you can do two things:
1. You can put it into an image program (paint works) to edit off the black edges or to resize, resave it as a new image name, and then upload it -OR-
2. Upload it straight to photobucket or imageshack.
The way file hosting sites work is this: You go there, register yourself a name, and then afterwards, you should be able to hit "Browse" to look for an image to upload from your computer. Once you have found the image you want to upload, select it, and hit "Ok" or "upload". THe site will keep a copy of the picture that is on your computer and put it on the web. That's right, now you're work is on the internet! Hooray!
If you need additional assistance, again, don't hesitate.
-

I have decided to do this,
Hello, we are the TSEAC That stands for, Texas Sociaty for Exotic Animal Cruelty
Please read our rules and policy,
We house any exotic animal In need. Our Veternarians make sure they are healthy, then, they are either realesed to the wild, Adopted, Or they could stay at the sociaty if they do not find a home.
If you wish to adopt an animal, we have to receive a written document that states you can care for exotic animals. This is part of our rules do that we know you will be able to take care of the animal you have adopted. We also come to your house to inspect the animals, to see that you have provided the needs of the animal. This inspection will take Once every two weeks, for two months. This is for the safety of the animals.
If we release an animal to the wild, We put a radio collar on them to track them, to make sure they are doing well in the wild. After about, six months, we take the collar off, and they are on their own. But in order to release the animal to the wild, they cannot be tamed, and Have to know how to servive in the wild.
If you have witnessed or have heard of any exotic animal abuse, Please inform us IMMEDIATLY. You will be given an award for Animal Safety. And we will do whatever we can to take care for the animal.
Thank you for your hospitality,
TSEAC.
( that all means you can make any requests.:original: )

The staff of discovery zoo would like to to tell you about a bengal tiger female named Sashta who was found in an a illegal exoctic animal farm along with her cubs.(who are as of yet unnamed) .The cubs where unhurt(though mildly frightend) but Sashta recevied a bad gash to the right foreleg.Sadly we cannot keep Sashta or her cubs due to the fact that we have a bengal tiger female who just gave birth to prematuere cubs, which she then promptly abandoned .As taking care them will take up most of our time we cannot keep Sashta, will you take her and her cubs?
signed,the staff of Discovery zoo.

Ok everybody!
We have got a SERIOUS case on our hands.
A woman has called and informed us that she has neighbors that are **** fighting, which is against the law.
Except, it isn't chickens, its secretary birds!
She told us, that one night, she kept hearing a very loud screeching of some sourt. She went to the neighbor's door, but nobody answered. So, she krept behind the house, and saw something. And she immediatly called us. We rushed right over, knocked on the door, and noone answrered. And since it is against the law to go into someone's house without permmision, All we could do was leave a notice on the door.
The next day, the woman called us again, saying she heard the screeching again that night, So,she knocked on the door again, noone answered, but the notice paper was gone. And then, she heard mens' voices yelling from the backyard.
She krept behind the house, and managed to capture these pictures,

http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m23/zooadmin/pic1-2.jpg
It was too late for this poor guy,
http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m23/zooadmin/pic2-2.jpg
So, we immediatly rushed over to the house. Searched the house. But nobody was home. We thought they must have fled when they heard our sirens down the street.
We went to the backyard, And our agents were very disturebed by this:
http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m23/zooadmin/pic4-2.jpg
The bird pens
http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m23/zooadmin/pic11.jpg
No food,
http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m23/zooadmin/pic8-2.jpg
No water,
http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m23/zooadmin/pic9-2.jpg
And no shelter, only a pile of sticks,
http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m23/zooadmin/pic10-1.jpg
We have taken the reamaining birds, and put them in our veternarian office.
They have minor cuts, but they are recovering very well.
http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m23/zooadmin/pic13-1.jpg
I will give ya'll an update on the birds today.
And the pics of the tigers are on their way!
