Aww, save the poor otters!

Can some of the marine animals, Like the otters, go on land without it saying that they're beached?

Yes they can. The Walrus, Sea lion, Sea Otter, rockhopper penguin, green sea turtle, and the leatherback sea turtle can all go on land.

Sorry for the delay! Sugar, Kip, Lia, and Monterey are all settling into their new home very nicely. They are extremely curious, so many of the pictures are close ups, as they swim straight to the camera, and nose around!

More coming up!!!

I was recently offered a pair of california sea lions, in exchange for $6000 ( this is what they are worth, and it is priced fairly ). I was given the opportunity to visit with them for a bit, and I fell in love. In order to get the money for the sea lions, I will have to open the zoo, which I was planning to do soon anyway. Should I get these two?

Thing One
Thing Two

( off topic) What do you think of the new avatar? I am not a master at making them, so feel free to critique it. Also, Mods, please change this thread name to seaside reserve.

This is the end of the updates for tonight.

Cameron and Chase are bunking with the otters, and they have found a new home at Seaside Reserve. Thank you Bep-Boi!

@ Bep ( if I can call you that ) we all have our lack of creativity moments, and happy 200th post!
@Sagey Thanks *blush* I made the avatar but I wasn't sure whether to use it or not. And yes, there are many new animals to play with at the reserve!

Cameron and Chase are no longer living with the otters, because I caught Chase stalking and scaring Monterey and the babies.
Oh yeah, babies!
Josephine had another baby. We named her Aleena
Penelope ( girl ) and Nim ( boy ) are the two baby otters.

More animals need saving! Two narwhals being kept in a small tank at a nearby zoo are not getting the love or attention they need. They are becoming sick, and need a real home. Should we take them?
Here a Narwhal
There a Narwhal

And also, if a mod out there sees this, could you please change the name of my thread to seaside reserve?

Ok, here goes. Sailor and Lass have a small tank next to the dolphins. They are very shy, so even though they have a short tank wall, I gave them a deep tank, so they have lots of privacy. The two Narwhals are still a little scared of people, but Sailor has started to warm up to us a bit. We are patient with them though, because we know it will take time.

More coming soon.

are we allowed to suggest stories for animals to be in the reserve?

a male manatee has been found stuck in very shallow water along the coast of florida. zookeepers from a local zoo say that he might not last longer. will you take him in?

Oh no! A adolecent Whale shark has been found beached along the Gulf Coast! The care facility says he is growing to large to care for anymore! Can you take him in? They named him Atua.

The manatee was rescued from the shores of Florida, and now Hugo is living in his own tank at the corner of the zoo. Hugo is an older manatee, who is very slowly but surely getting less shy. He doesn't seem to mind the keepers coming in to visit him, as he is still a little sick, and needs frequent check-ups, but he seems to try and avoid making a big scene and likes to hide in the kelp bed a lot.

Hugo is so cute! That is all for tonight!
