Gem the Photosnapper
« on: January 27, 2007, 10:24:38 AM »
Yes. I play Zoo Tycoon just to make cool Zoo's with nice scenery and animals then go crazy with the camera. They each also have little stories with them usually. I'll post a few...

Here's my little baby Zebra, now an adult, Zeek! He's one of my favorites. When he was born in the game, his parent died of old age 2 days later. (Seriously) Zeek then stuck around a little Wildbeast child, Roarik, and played with eachother. Roarik died due to the underfed African Wild Dogs when Zeek grew up. (Zookeeper got stuck and I usually ignore the messages since sometimes they just complain. >>) He now just wanders around the Zebra herd.

Here's my precious False Killer Whale, Mystery. : :) : Being the newest born in the HUGE pod of False Killer Whales, I separated her and took her out of the tank and into the dolphin tank since the other False Killer Whales complained of too little room. She lived with the dolphins and still does.

And here's my Javan Rhino, Irthos. *hugs rhino* He lives alone except for the monkies that keep him company. Not much else to say. He just likes to wander and enjoy the world.

I'll put more. When I feel like it.

Ah, got another one. This is Torii. She is the only female of the group of 10, but acts more leader like then the rest. She uses the kojepi(Spelling? I can't spell for beans) a lot and looks after the pack more than her mate.

Thanks a lot guys.

Here's one with a story simular to Torii's. She lives in a group of ALL females. She usually stays ontop of the kojepi and hunts the most. Oh, and her name is Ida.

Here's a cute pic of Ida. X3

This is Torii's son, Ethan she had 5 minutes ago. His eyes are so big and cute! <3 He loves to play fight with his brothers and loves to climb. His Father died, leaving him and his brothers to learn from their mom.

More coming soon!

P.S. I have a little hint for photographers is ZT2. Press and hold the X button while in camera mode and you will become closer to the ground. It helps get better shots of baby animals, small animals, or if you want a neat prospective on an animal.

Gem Chameleon is a devoted zoo owner. I am now working on rescuing abused animals and nursing them back to health.

But I need your help. You just need to give me a mission, and maybe even a picture of the abused animal. I'll do the job and show pictures of it's new habitat.

P.S.- I have ES, AA, MM

A strange cat has been reported in the woods of southern arizona. When park officials came to check it out they found a caracal! Turns out the owner let them lose in the state park and was fined 2000 dollars. Will you take this creature in?

ps if you don't have AA just use some other big cat.

Catching him was not easy, but we did and brought him back to a nice scrub exibit! Since he was handled by people before, he wasn't that hard to check for dieseses while he was awake and to take him to his exibit. We interveiwed the previous owner to find out what the Carcal's name was, which turned out to be Cantarius. So we stuck with the name to prevent confusion.

He has a really lazy nature. He likes to sleep, yawn, and eat then sleep, then yawn and drink, sleep... You get the picture.

Here is an overveiw of his exibit so far...

Here's Cantarius. He looks like he's smiling! :D

Here's Cantarius... making a funny face. X3 He's really in a half-yawn though.

Waiting for my next mission!

Whoops, sorry. Thanks for merging them for me.

The poor pilot whales were very sick once I found them, but as soon as we got them fixed up they were as good as new and swimming with much enthusiasm. We named them all, The male being named Thomas, and the females Elizabeth, Lilith, and Ariel.

Thomas is very playful and likes to explore all around the tank.
Lilith likes to be alone, usually at the bottom of the tank.
Ariel likes to stay near the glass, looking at the humans pass by.
Elizabeth likes to stay at the top of the tank, fin grazing the top like a shark.

Here's a pic of the entrance to their new home...

Here's one of Thomas, smiling above water. He is so cute~

Here's a pretty neat pic of Lilith...

Here's a pic of Ariel underwater. Look! She has a fish in here mouth. ^^

Here's a pic of Elizabeth with the sun right above her...

Here's what it looks like when watching the whales on the bottom level. There's Thomas, being... happy. ^^

Here's a pic of the above level. And there's Thomas agian. He's such a photo hog... whale... thing. But we all still love him.
