Is it possible to put the Zoo Empire models in Zoo Tycoon 2?

And if it is, is it copyright infringement?

No, it's not possible, and two, if it were, it would certainly be copyright infringement. :sad

cant see how the animals could be put in but i dont see why i would be copyright infirngement after all - we use stuff from other games like the sims - wildlife park - etc to make into stuff for zt so if that was the case then most of the downlaods we ahve here at ZA would be breaking copyright.

very true, like i have installed seaworld tycoon bathrooms for zoo tycoon cc and many other zo tycoon 1 downloas were from rct2

I have a lot of SIMS downloads for ZT1, hosted on ZA, and ZA wouldn't host anything illegal if they had knowledge it was illegal.

I don't think it woulkd be possible though.

Nope, it can't work for ZT2, sorry. :sad And, thanks for the info, y'all about legally being able to use it if we COULD use it! That was a surprise to me! :shocked

T-rex managed to convert jurasic park operation genisis files to work with zt2 on zoo mania.

If we could convert ZE files to ZT2 files we could have:

Indian rhino
Chinese alligator
Mandrill
Asian black bear and regular black bear
Siberian tiger
red deer
sika
american alligator
much, much more...........

however the graphics for them would really look TERRIBLE!!!!!

Hello, I told my cuz who was one here as Trex as a member, about this debate wehter or not he converted my Jurassic Park operation Genesis dinos (That's rihgt, he did this on mine...

) and made them ZT2 compatible, now I have seen them, but at this moment he says that they work ingame, but if he takes a oic, the pic is black. When he fixes this they will most likely be at Zoomania, the place he says he is on the most. (What? You don't expect a banned member to post pics on this site do you?! :hehe )

You can make a z2f file with WinRAR, it's very easy. :happy Maybe if we took BFM files from a ZT2 animal (like what Xtrat did with the bullfrog) they might work. I would try, but I don't have ZE.

If someone succeeds we can get-
Giant Anteater
Bactrian Camel

Those would be the only two that cant be made by user DLs, which, in my opinion, look MUCH better and are MUCH better.

Even if we got the Anteater and Camel from ZE, the graphics would be disgusting compared to the detailed ZT2 animals from the Bongo to the Hyena, and they wouldnt use ZT2 food, shelter, enrichment, or anything would they? The behaviors are all completely different rih?

Anyways unless someone really does an awesome job with them Im not gonna dl any ZE model animals for ZT2.
