Title: Zoo Admin Stats And The Wayback Machine!
Post by: Sideshow Bob on July 19, 2005, 10:30:28 AM: I wasn't sure where to put this, but this is really cool and I thought everyone should see it.

You might have heard about alexa.com, but if not, it gives you a whole bunch of stats for most sites on the web. I searched Zoo Admin, and here's (http://www.alexa.com/data/details/main?q=Zoo+Admin&url=http://zoo.ogresnet.com/) it's statistics page. There's traffic graphs if you're interested in that stuff, but I think that ZA should take pride in their placing as 143,263 most visited site on the web...which seems like a big number, but the next most popular ZT site is ranked in the 600,000s. :w00t :approve

Anyway, that's not the coolest thing I found. There was a link on that page to the Wayback Machine (http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://zoo.ogresnet.com/), an Internet Archiver. You can see all previous Zoo Admin layouts here...very cool!

Post by: Eagle One on July 22, 2005, 08:46:56 PM: You should have seen the conversations on the color brown LOL in staff discussions at the time we had all types of nice things to say about the site color there was an ADMIN at Orgesnet that didnt want to change the color scheme . That admin has since left right before the color change

Wow. That brings back memories. I should have joined (well I did but I should have posted in my account) in 03...then I would be a mod by now...not...:lol But at least I'd have been here for two years.

We have improved in the ratings quite a bit since Sideshow first posted the link. Just go to his first post and click on the links to take a look.
