Title: Do I have to ask a designer before using their animal in show & tell
Post by: JohnZTMaster on January 18, 2007, 07:18:31 PM
Okay, just a quick question...

Did not know where to put this, btw.

Do I need to ask a designer before featuring their animals in my Show & Tell?

Thanks, jzm

Nope! They were created for you to use; go ahead and use them!

You just need permission to translate them, use them as a template, hosting at another site, etc.

Mikamod is right. S&T is the one place you can freely use any creator's downloaded animals. It's always nice to give credit, though, when you can. :original:

I always try to remember to credit designers if a pic in my S&T features a user download. That's why I so often use the word 'Penguika'  in the narrative of my show and tell!!

Yep, I'm sure you can. If you want to not include the note, then just ask the designer and I bet many would let you :original:
