Title: How do I get MM animals into APE?

I have ape 2, but there are no dino's or MM animals.  I have tried making the animals into a ztd and importing them, but that did not work.  Any ideas?

I'm assuming (hopefully) you are speaking of ZT2? In that case, the animals from DD CANNOT be used in APE II. They are encrypted and cannot be unlocked. The animals from MM can only be edited if you have the expansion MM. If not, they cannot be done. :wink:

If you DO have MM2 then the animals are located in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Zoo Tycoon 2\x200_000

Then you have the WRONG APE. You need APE 2.5, which is available from our Downloads section, located HERE (http://zoo.ogresnet.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=206). :original:

I think that is the one that I have.  It does not work at all.  It never shows any animals.  I will redownload it.  Thank you.

PS do the animals shop up in it on thier own or do you have to import them?

I'm terribly sorry, Missy, but I do not know how to do anything with the original APE. You'll have to wait for one of our ZT1 experts to come along and answer this for you. I only know where it's located. :lolol: Since this is a holiday, it may take a day or so for you to get an answer.

Use the APE enhancement. Which for me, made me lose the ability to edit any zt animals outside of a few MM animals. >:(

But that's only because I was stupid at the time. You're probably smart enough to do it right.

Ok, I downloaded the enhancement.  What do I do with the three folders?(ZT MM DD)
