I cannot update my ZT1 game.

I've played this ZT1 game for a while (version number 10.10.00.0006) and I would like to update my game to version 10.9.

I've already downloaded the ztpatch file to my computer. But when I double-clicked it. It's shown the message that "The retail version of zoo tycoon is not installed on this system".


How come it is not installed in MY SYSTEM.
I played it hundreds time and I still can play it (old version).

Please anyone help me!!!

well isint 10.10 bigger than 10.9 so wouldnt that mean that yur game already has the patch installed or dosent need the patch?

In my opinion, version 10.9 means 10.10.00.0009 not just 10.9. It's the newer version than mine.

Do you have just ZT or do you have Zoo Tycoon Complete Collection ??

From the last topic I posted, I cannot update my game. I found out that, after I installed my Windows, my Zoo tycoon is disappeared from program list but I still can play it from the "program files" folder in C:/.

I can't find my install CD now so I've just tried to add zoo tycoon to my Windows by using add/remover program from control panels.


Now, I can't play this game anymore. When I clicked zoo.exe, the game loaded just a second and then it disappeared. I can't do anything.

Does anyone have any suggestion??? Plz help me.

as for the problem you need the cd to install the game without it you cannot install zt1 this protects the copyright of the game.
