Blue Screen while playing ZT2
« on: February 03, 2007, 10:03:22 PM »
Hello,I am new to here
Since English is not my mother language,I am very sorry to have any grammer or vocabulary mistakes :/

Recently,I have installed ZT2,the African Adventure and the Endangered Spcies
They are both running quite well without any problems

and today,I received the MM2 and problems occured after I installed it
While playing MM2 and loaded any maps now, blue screen appears and I need to reboot my computer
I don't know if I can do anything to secure it :/

below is my computer
Windows XP SP2
CPU: Intel Celeron 1.10 GHz (I know it's a little bit old = =)
RAM: 512 MB
VGA card:Geforce FX5700VE

I feel very helpless now as I tried many ways to fix it :pout:
or if I need to change any hardware to meet its requirments?
Thank you for reading this post
and it would be generous for who to solve this problem :crying:

For the Marine Mania maps, if they're appearing blue when you click on them before they are loaded under Freeform Game, I have the same problem which is minor. But since it sounds like you have blue maps after they are loaded you might have a graphics problem. Did you get a message saying that the graphics card was too old for Zoo tycoon 2; Marine Mania? Also, reinstalling the game may fix your problem.

Note: I don't have much experience with this kind of thing but I'll try my best to help.

I think I have fixed the problem after I have uninstalled the Photoimpact
I think it's a litte bit werid as they don't have any connected program with each other :/

Blue screens usually indicate a severe hardware error, but occasionally software incompatibility can cause them too.  Lucky you found what caused it! :)
