Title: Land/Water habitats

What's your fav stratagy for making land and water habitats? I like to make stairs leading up to an observation area overlooking the land area, then have the tank attached on the side so guests can see in it.

Cool :original: , do you put an observation area there?

I sometimes gives guests a little "underwater" viewing area, by lowering the path a little bit, and then I have the rest of the exhibit on the "regular" level for the zoo I'm making.  Other times, I do a raised observation area or an ob. area that cuts into the exhibit.  In exhibits with land and tanks, I tend to put the ob. area near the tank.

Cool, I like your ideas. Does anyone ever try anything weird, like make it look like an aquarium or something?

I sometimes put the oyster (clam, whatever it is) in exhibits.  It moves around a little and reminds me of the objects that you can put in little aquariums.
