Closing Zoo . ..

 I was wondering, my animals are getting tierd cause there are to many people . . .Is there a way to shut the zoo down? I know it might  sound crazy; but I am new at this.

Yes, there is. Click on the zoo entrance. On the right hand side, it says open and closed. Click on the red closed button and the guests will start to leave. :wtg  :wtg  :wtg

I did that and don't see an open or closed on the right . . .I looked in zoo statuce,zoo info, but there isn't any? :crying  :crying  :crying

I don't think you can close the zoo in ZT1 sorry - I'm pretty sure zookeeper601 was thinking of ZT2

Yes I was. I didn't look at the top ...... ZOO ADMIN - ZOO TYCOON 1 - ZT1 STRATEGIES - CLOSING ZOO . ... What an idiot :crazy . Sorry to give you false hope. There isn't a way that I know of to close your zoo in ZT1. Sorry again. :crazy  :sad

put an iron bar fence, or other fence along the front of teh zoo, taht stops them getting in

It's not an official closure but what Gibbon-Fanatic siad is what I used to do :wtg . I would try that if you're desperate :wtg  :wtg  :wtg .

Just increase you admission price, you wont get rid of all your guest but it will derease the amount of guest in your zoo.

There is a cheat that is roughly equivalent to closing your zoo in ZT1 - rename a guest Alfred H, and a flock of birds will scare the guests away. It does not affect guest happiness.

If you lose all ur guests (or most) then you can not afford to pay for them and that will make them more unhappy. you could use the expencive method (and u also have to wait till it is unlocked)
of replaceing the original fenceing with fences that can not be seen through. another option is delete everything other than the exhibit and its contents. If there is nothing there not evin a path, the guests will not be very attracted to that erea decreasing the amount of them. There is a downside to both of these optons. with the plan of makeing new fence, you hace to wait till it is unlocked and you have to pay alot of money. the downside of the delete plan is you made exhibits to show them off to guests, but they dont see it so there is no purpose of having it at the time besides the diverse speces thing, and u dont get money from shops there. Not with the fence method. Guests can go out but not in.

Heloooooo! this is a ZT1 thread. not 2. There isn't a close sign on the zoo entrance page. Duh.
