My Elephant Jumped The Fence!!!

Yesterday I was playing Zoo Tycoon:CC and one of my lions gave birth!!:original:
But then when I was off with the new mother my female elephant jumped over the high concrete fence and ran around the zoo scaring my guests!!  I got really mad at her and then what did she do but give birth to a little male elephant!!:original:
then I had to put her and the baby back into the exhibit where they belonged.  I really need some help here because i really, really, really, don't want them to excape again.  Does anyone have any ideas at all?: :

use a taller fence or sink their exhibit w/ the landscaping tools

Nothing I know of can escape a deep pit, even the t-rex. I'd say either make a pit or use electric fencing.
