That's fantastic, I love the way you have the double layers of viewing and the natural look of your exibit.

Do you mind if I try something very similar in my zoo? :)  I'll give you credit of course - you've inspired me to build more!

Of course I don't mind . If anyone thinks any of my ideas are good enough to use themselves then there isn't much of a bigger compliment is there?

Well now that both my computer is working after being unusable for three weeks and ZA is also back I should probably post some pictures here again.

I started this zoo months ago, literally. And it's still not done but I'm getting close. It doesn't really have a name, my zoos rarely do lol so I just call it "River Valley Zoo" since there's a river flowing through the middle (no I'm not very creative  ).

The entrance, as usual it's not decorated, my entrances rarely are lol it's just a path heading into the zoo.

http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-182.jpg

You follow the trail downwards
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-183.jpg

and come to a food court. You can also spot a section of the river behind it.

http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-184.jpg

Looking behind the seating area you see a small lake that the river flows into with a bridge reaching across it.
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-185.jpg

Moving on from the food court you spot what appears to be an aquatic exhibit hidden behind a stone cliff.
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-186.jpg

An overview of the viewing area. Thanks to Shen for her beautiful Coastal Theme Pack which I used here.
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-192.jpg

From inside the viewing area you see the tank is teaming with the playful commersons dolphins. And thanks to Penguika here for these guys .

Inside the dolphin's exhibit

and a few of them swimming around

Finally a section overview.

Thank you for all the great comments everyone .

From the bongo exhibit you must walk back up through the food court and then towards the bridge that allows you to pass over the lake.
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/enlarged-17.jpg

From atop the bridge you glance over either side, to the left you see the river flowing back towards the bongos
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/enlarged-18.jpg

and to the right you spot the lake and a desert exhibit you've not yet visited beyond it.
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/enlarged-19.jpg

After reaching the bridge's end you see an elevated path heading up over a fence. (now I've forgotten to mention that the logs I've got scattered throughout the zoo are made by Shen but better late than never right?)
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/enlarged-20.jpg

You climb it and find yourself inside a viewing area for a large scrub exhibit. Thanks to Shen and her sandstone pack for the fountain I've used here .
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/enlarged-21.jpg

You get a glance of the massive exhibit from the left side of the observation area.
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/enlarged-22.jpg

Inside you spot meerkats,
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/enlarged-23.jpg

gerenuk,
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/enlarged-24.jpg

gemsbok,
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/enlarged-25.jpg

white rhinos,
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/enlarged-26.jpg

and aardvarks.
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/enlarged-27.jpg

And lastly, as always, an exhibit overview. Now I should also thank the person who created the  feathertop wire grass here but I can't for the life of me find who made it and what the name of the foliage pack it came from was :ohmy... unless of course I've gone totally mad and it's actually made by BF. Anyways here's the shot.
