Having problems...again

I have Zoo Tycoon 2, and I recently downloaded some animals from this site. They are fine and all, no problems with the animals, they wok great, but whenever I play, I can only play for about ten minutes before the thing freezes and the little windo pops up and says "Zoo Tycoon 2 has encountered an error and will have to close" or something like that, I forget the exact wording. I just sent an error report, (lol, I dont even know what that does) but I'm still having trouble.
