Here's something to look forward to, my first ZT2 show and tell. Hope you all enjoy.
Here's the storyline:
Ever since the closing of the SeaWorld Aurora in Ohio, all of us Northerners were tired of having to travel halfway across the country to see rare and exotic marine animals. So after hearing enough complains, Anaheuser(horrible spelling:laughing) Busch decides to build a SeaWorld right up in Pittsburgh, PA. And to be put in charge as marine park director...me! So the project is just about to begin, be patient and pics of the next great marine park will be posted soon.

Alright. The land has been confirmed there is a large lake just outside Pittsburgh that is going to be great for the park. Since it is a little grassy, I'm going to have to import some sand from the Sahara and add some dunes. You can actually still see the city skyline of Pittsburgh, which will look great at night! Okay so after a few months we have sand, from the Sahara, added all around the lake and some dunes at the park entrance. Thanks!:thumbsup: I' m going to make this a little more fin. I'm going to give you all some sharp clues on what attraction is next. You can post your fearsome guess if you want, but I'm not posting any more pics today until someone does correctly:wicked::mwahaha: . If no one gills anything by today's end, Eastern Time, I'll post the pics tomorrow. Oh and by the way, the clues are in what I just wrote:wink: And name not the animal but the SeaWorld attraction, unless you've never been to SeaWorld, give the animal.

yay! i these are good so far. but couldnt you just get sand from arizona lol. ive lived there and boy is there a lot of sand.:surprise:
oh, and im gonna guess scalloped hammerhead, because thats got to be some sort of shark that theyve got at sea world. but what do i know. its been waaay too long since ive been to seaworld

Yeah good point, but I guess no one will miss that sand anyway seeing as it came from the desert with the most sand.:laughing:
andypvera, I'll give it to you anyways, since you got so close. I was looking for Shark Encounter, but there is a shark tunnel in it. Since ZT2 doesn't have any tunnels, I made a shark indoor aquarium called Shark Encounter.

The sharks are now situated in their new environement and you are all invited to a private showing of this aquarium. Just turn here into the entrance. Ok our first stop takes us to the Black-tip Reef Shark tank. Amazing pics MM---you've done a great job with this marine zoo. I am very impressed with the Shark Encounter exhibit you created. Since I don't have MM2 yet (and won't for a while) I truly appreciate you taking the time to showcase what can be done with this new expansion.
If you have an enclosed diving bell, I'll go--but since I can't swim, I'll just keep my feet dry and watch from a safe distance! :laughing:

yes, got something like error 404, or some other weird annoying numerical thing. (who in their right mind gives all of these errors numbers.) i'll give it another try though.

I look at your pics and how do you make a roof on a water exibit

Basically all you do is take the elevated pathway from ES and place at a good height above the pathway. Next adjust your tank walls to go just under the "roof". Now add a opaque tank wall near the path as an actual wall and lower or raise that to fit under the roof.

hmm, looking at the fact that this seems to have a pirate theme, i would have to say... i havent the slightest idea. but since theres a parrot, i'll guess rockhopper penguin, because theyre both birds.

OO OO I KNOW PICK ME! It's Clyde and Seamore Take Pirate Island with walruses, Asian small-clawed otters and California sea lions! (So this must be modeled after the Orlando park).

It is similar to Orlando, but it will have some things that no SeaWorld has done before. Anyways, yes Clyde and Seamore take Pirate Island is correct!:thumbsup: However, it will not be a show, due to a lack of space( I'll try to fit one in if I can), it will be an exhibit featuring Otters and Sea Lions called Pirate Island with pirate theming.

Thanks!: :) : The animals have finally situated at Pirate Island. We have 4 California Sea Lions: Bonnie, Clyde, Shelly, and Seamore and 2 Sea Otters: Otto and Jamie. I thought of I would have some pics of the penguins by now, but they are giving my employees a bit of trouble, the rockhoppers are very sweet. Unfortuantely I can't say the same about the emporers, with their biting. Well, you know what they say, if no one else can do it, do it yourself. There is a new attraction coming later. Although it isn't the last, it will be the crown achivement of this park. It has been in construction for more than a year and the animals are about to be in place. I will give the clue later.

Does Wild Arctic contain Beluga's, Polar Bears. And narwhals? And don't they have a huge scenery with like people are exploring the arctic with huts and other ice things.

Yeah, that's basically it, except I think that there aren't any Narwhals. Just Belugas and Polar Bears, and I think a walrus.

Sorry the tour for Wild Arctic took so long. I had to deal with construction, just as I was about to place the animals, one of the tanks cracked and filled the lower floor with thousands of gallons of water. The good news is that no one or animals were hurt. The bad news, I couldn't get pics.

I'm getting Marine Mania 2 for Christmas and I don't really know much about the features, but I doubt I'll be able to replicate what you've been doing. This is more-or-less the reason I joined the forum in the first place, to view the artistic skills of fellow ZTers. I'll be looking forward to viewing more.

Great news. The construction for Key West Fest is almost done! The animals are settled and the scenery is taking shape. So far the exhibits done are: Turtle Point, Coastal Cove, Flamingo Lagoon, and the Key West Fest stadium and show (although there aren't that many tricks now.) There is also one more exhibit, but you will find out about that when I get the pics up sometime today or tomorrow or the next day, preferably today but you never know how computers will act.
