Post by: Piaceri on January 03, 2007, 11:28:49 PM: I'll join in and post some pictures from my zoo! I've only been playing for a couple days, so most of my stuff is experimental. Tell me what you think!

On a side note, does anyone know how to access the pictures taken in the game with the game camera? So far all I've done is screenshots, but I only took photographs off my white female Bengal tiger and I'd really like to post them. I was so suprised when she came out white! Sooooo beautiful... Anywho..

Overview of the Bengal Tiger exhibit with the raised path (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v149/TEgalaxy/Zoo%20Tycoon/zt02.jpg). It's connected with the Pygmy Hippo exhibit, but I've had only a couple problems with the tigers climbing around the cliffs. I'm still working out an aesthetical solution to this...

The Safari exhibit (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v149/TEgalaxy/Zoo%20Tycoon/zt03.jpg)- Giraffes on one side of the cliff/sidewalk and zebras, gazelles, wildebeest, and sable antelope on the other.

Emperor Penguin exhibit (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v149/TEgalaxy/Zoo%20Tycoon/zt04.jpg)- I love this one. Most of them are swimming in that pic, but I have a million of them. I LOVE the baby penguins!! I have cute shots of them, but I need to get them out of the photo album first..

Polar Bear exhibit (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v149/TEgalaxy/Zoo%20Tycoon/zt05.jpg)- I love polar bears...just ask my boyfriend LOL I love their exhibit a lot. The big fatties are swimming right now, but usually they roll around on the snow or lay atop the floating icebergs hehe

All the new features are so cool and so much fun. But I'm one of those people who only design in games and don't really play it...Like the Sims. I don't play the Sims I just design houses LOL

And thanks again for the link to the download help, Rosina :) I had to use the alternative method to get mine to work. Haha that figures...Things always have to end up difficult for me! lol

But now that I can download things, I'm working on a park of all just horses.

The Savannah Cliff is called the Kopje, and it comes with African Adventures.

I didn't realize how pretty the sunsets were in the game until I saw that and it just blew me away. It's so nice that the programmers would take such care into detail.

She's a snotty little brat but I love her. Anywho, in that zoo, I actually have several exhibits with herds of different species. There are the Przewalski horses, miniature horses, camarge horses, and a unicorn pair! The whole zoo is full of horses and a drive-through one. I would kill to go through a real one like that LOL (I'm crazy, yes...)

And yes, they are all white tigers. The male's name is Andreios and the female is Zahara. And their cubs are white. I get really lucky with the Bengals! My very first female Bengal was white (her mate was normal).

As for the wild horse, yep, I downloaded a couple different variant packs from this website. Great re-skins!!

I have to say though, my first white tiger I thought was a problem, because I was really zoomed out when it appeared and it looked colorless. I was really relieved when it came out a white tiger!

I agree with Rosina, your pictures are pretty! :woot:

I personally think the alpine sunsets are the best.

Post by: catfan on January 13, 2007, 12:24:27 PM: Great Piarci! I do exhibits the same way, only without food/water troughs, food/water bowls, toys, and shelters. The only food I put out for them is branches, fish, hay, grass, and bananas. I put lakes and rivers for the animals to drink. The carnivores hunt for food, and the prey eat the ground food I put out for them.: :) :
