Alright, I've finally decided to start a show and tell of the Raptor's Nest, my zoo. I have plenty of user-created objects and all of the expansions except MM2.
Orinoco Exhibit
The Orinoco crocodile pair are quite happy in their enclosure replicating the beautiful Orinoco river of South America. The female seems to be more content with staying on land while the male enjoys lazing around in the water. Here's the pair-

African River Delta
This exhibit houses greater flamingos, common hippos, and cape buffaloes. They get along wonderfully and make a mixed exhibit that draws in guests.

Wild West
The rolling dunes of the desert provide a stark contrast to the wetlands just across the road. The animals in this exhibit show the adaptations needed for survival in the bleak Southwest environment.

Lava Lizard Pen
The little lava lizards of the Galapagos islands live in their own little exhibit of four individuals. Their beautiful color patterns make them popular little creatures in my zoo.

Yes it is. The fact that the creature in my avatar is only found in Florida and my homestate of Louisiana made it an easy choice. Sorry about the image size, I forgot :crying: .
Takin Enclosure
The Himalayan takin once shared their exhibit with a pair of yaks before they were released into the wild. With the recent birth of a calf, the takin's future in the zoo looks promising.

@Raptorial you really should use an image hosting site such as Photobucket or Webshots to host pictures so everyone can see them. We ask that you NOT use imageshack right now because they delete the pictures over time, and anyone going through your thread a year from now might get a surprise!

I can do that. However, since a mod said that I shouldn't host at the site I did I'll have to arrange something on that matter.

I just said that because sometimes links like the ones you have don't work for everyone, whereas almost no one has problems with Photobucket or WebShots

I'm sorry that I haven't had much time for ZT2 lately and thus little picture time. I'm not sure when I can get to the request, but here are some more photos in the meantime.
Japanese Snow Forest
Home to 4 Japanese macaques (both of the females now pregnant), this recreation of a Japanese winter forest provides them with a diverse environment to traverse.

Alright, I've finally gotten it done.
Cliffside Safari
One of the many mixed African exhibits in the zoo, Cliffside Safari is mostly wooded savannah with the exception of the southern waterhole and the north part of the exhibit's bleak hills. The East African oryx and giant sable antelope mostly stay in the area near the barns and the watering hole while the Grevy's zebras trot among the woods at the base of the hills. The springboks are like sentinels of the exhibit, bounding across the hills and kopjes that rise above the flat savannah ground.

I've gotten started on several aquatic exhibits in MM and have this one to share as my first ever aquarium.
Manatee Glade
The first aquarium ever built in the zoo now house a pair of West Indian manatees. They are getting comfortable in their new home and hopes are that the pair will breed and produce calves to help bolster the wild population.

Baja Beach
This mixed pen-tank exhibit is home to four California sea lions. Hunting, diving, and playing in the water, they provide tons of enjoyment for the guests and children in particular. The exhibit may house a larger colony in the future, but for now the zoo is in its early stages of aquarium construction and is just beginning to learn the ups and downs of caring for marine life.

Andes Peaks
An exhibit containing vicunas and Chilean flamingos, Andes Peaks shows that the zoo isn't completely going over to the aquarium side. Graceful and serene, the Chilean flamingos walk around the mountainous area alongside the energetic climbers, the vicunas.

The Desert Pack on this very site. I also now have a couple more MM creatures.
The Kelp Forest
Modelled after the great kelp forests of California, sea otters roam among the kelp fronds in search of food. The two individuals seem to be getting along well and hopes are high that they might breed in the near future.

Shark Reef
This coral reef recreation holds a pair of sleek and powerful blacktip reef sharks that gave birth shortly after the following photographs were taken. They swim through the reef rocks in search of prey and are popular with guests who like the smaller sharks. Another creature in the tank is a single venomous lionfish. This creature often displays its fanlike fins, showing the markings that mean that it isn't to be messed with.

EDIT: A new update is in. The Orinocos will soon be finding themselves in my zoo's new neighbor, the Steve Irwin Memorial Reptile Park. Construction has begun on this sister zoo and it will be started soon. I'll now be splitting my zoo posts in two to differentiate my Raptor's Nest zoo pics and those of the SIMRP. Below are some photos of the furious construction going on to get the zoo ready for guests.

Thank you. I have no updates for the SIMRP, but a new exhibit in the Raptor's Nest.
Southern Style
What's black, white, and yellow? Rockhopper penguins of course! A small colony has now been moved into the zoo's newest exhibit, a mixed land-tank exhibit mimicking the small islands in between South America and Antarctica. The colony of 6 rockhoppers are getting along nicely and have even produced a few offspring.

Orca Arctic
This icy exhibit holds a pair of orcas. They are powerful swimmers and popular with the guests.

Leatherback Isle
An tank featuring these rare marine reptiles, Leatherback Isle has a mated pair living in the comfort of the new park. Any offspring that may be produced in the future will be released to bolster the wild population.

The Grand Opening
After a bit of work, the Orinoco crocodiles have been moved into their new home, complete with a replica of a sunken galleon. Also, the front gate has finally been activated with the fog effect that we were so excited to see in action.

Herb and Louise
A pair of Aldabra tortoises, Herb and Louise have been introduced into the park. The Galapagos government is attempting to acquire some Galapagos tortoises, but until then this pair will be our representation of the giant tortoises.

American Alligators
A pair of American alligators are also now part of the park. Being the state reptile from where I live I was extremely happy to find an available pair.

A true megaexhibit, this is the largest enclosure we've ever built. A pair of Indian rhinos share the exhibit with large herds of nilgai, blackbucks, and the largest Asian land mammal-the mighty Asian elephant. Only a single male exists in each of the herds, replicating a natural environment as best as possible.
