what program do you guys use to make the downloadable animals on this site?

For Zoo Tycoon 1 (since that's the section you posted in, I will assume that's what you mean) you must use A.P.E.

Only the final assembly and animal stats are done in ape. You would first have to use a graphics program to do the images or recolors. You can also use 3D graphics programs and do the model and then skin it. Remember there are also animations and shadows. All this is usually done in a graphics program first and when you have the graphics done you then add them where necesary in ape to assemble the final ZTD. Once this is done there is also programing that has to be completed.(adjusting areas in the animal ai file)I would suggest you try Reading this section of the forum which will give you a little help and some information you should find helpful.
