Woohoo, sheltie pics!! :woot: And sheltie, those pics are just amazing. As always!

Can I ask a question, please? I tend to avoid using a lot of elevation in guest areas, not being sure how the guests will feel about climbing about a lot! Do you ever notice any decrease in guest happiness? Sorry if that sounds cheeky; I know I wouldn't mind the elevation if I was a guest!

Lol I don't think the guests have problems with the elevation. Unless it's too steep for them to climb and therefore prevents them from getting around. Although I'll admit I don't really care about how happy my guests are or not :badgnome:. However I don't use elevation in food courts or viewing areas for the most part because the guest objects will automatically flatten the ground around them which leaves funny looking plateaus all over the zoo.

Thanks again everyone .

This will be second to last set of pictures I'll be posting. I hope to get the set for the last island up tomorrow so that I can then try and figure out how to upload it, but I'm not making any promises.

We head back along the elevated path and then to the right.
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-144.jpg
We arrive at a small food court but decide to instead head to the island beside this one connected by a small bridge.
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-143.jpg
Once over the bridge we come to a fork and head left

http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-141.jpg
to the ethiopian wolf exhibit.

A few pictures of the wolves.

http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-138.jpg
We then head back to the fork but this time turn right.
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-137.jpg
And come to a viewing area
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-136.jpg
for the zoo's bison and wild horse exhibit.

This/These zoos are phenominal! The care with exhibits are made, and the way they are integrated into the landscape is excellent! Keep up the good work!

Alright I've gotten the final group of pictures for this zoo together so here they are.

We head back to food court
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-164.jpg
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-163.jpg
and then through it towards the bengal tiger exhibit.
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-162.jpg
We find a small rest/viewing are at the top.
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-161.jpg
One of the tigers. And thank you once again to KK for her amazing reskins.
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-159.jpg
Tiger exhibit overview.
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-160.jpg
We move on towards the next exhibit.
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-158.jpg
forking off that path is a platform from where you spot a herd of addax and scimitar horned oryx.
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-157.jpg
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-156.jpg
Heading back up and continuing straight forward you see another viewing are for the exhibit.
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-155.jpg
An addax.
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-154.jpg
And two of the scimitar horned oryx.
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-153.jpg
And an overview of their exhibit.
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-152.jpg
You notice a trail heading down from the oryx and addax exhibit.
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-151.jpg
and follow it to find the pilot whale/ leather back sea turtle exhibit.
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-150.jpg
A whale
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-149.jpg
and a turtle.
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-148.jpg
A look at the majority of the exhibit. Due to it's size and shape I couldn't fit it all in.
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-147.jpg
You head down yet another trail that branches from the above dessert exhibit viewing area to find yourself back where you started.
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-146.jpg
So having seen the entire zoo you decide it's time to leave.
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-145.jpg

*takes deep breath* OK that's the last of them. Now for the zoo map.
With all icons showing
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/withoconscropped.jpg
And here it is without the animal and building icons.
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/noiconscropped.jpg

Now I do still plan on uploading this zoo once RND is once again able to accept submissions. But I'm still going to need to bug someone into showing me how to upload first :lolol:.

Well a while ago I decided to try and replicate a photo that Rosina's Cat showed in the "Your Computer Desktop" thread. Now my version strayed off from the original idea as often happens when I try and copy something :lolol: but I'm still happy with the result.

The entrances to the underground and above ground viewing areas.
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-165.jpg
Heading down to the bottom...
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-166.jpg
Half the viewing area.
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-167.jpg
And looking through the glass we spot the riverine tucuxi and the yellow spotted amazon river turtles. As you can see I like penguika's amazon pack .
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-168.jpg
an overview of the underground viewing area. I had to hide the roof so I'm sorry that it's partly grayed out :pinch:.
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-172.jpg
We head back up to the top...
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-169.jpg
and onto the aboveground viewing deck
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-173.jpg
Inside the viewing area.
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-171.jpg
which offers a second view of the tank.
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-170.jpg
Inside the exhibit.
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-179.jpg
And the tucuxi.
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-174.jpg
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-175.jpg
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-176.jpg
These two swim playfully in front of the viewing areas.
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-178.jpg
And a turtle.
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-177.jpg
Finally an exhibit overview.
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n2/sheltiefan_2006/Zoo%202/enlarged-180.jpg

Since this wasn't an actual zoo but just me messing around with an idea I can't promise more pics anytime soon. But I will try to get another decent zoo finished on the near future.

Well the turtles can get out. However the cliff around the edge keeps those annoying messages about them not being contained from coming up :lolol:. But like I said this was just me trying out an idea so I'm not really concerned about the practicality of it. I could have used RND's invisible fence though.
