Ok, this is kinda wierd, but I read somewhere that there are ghost animals and the same day that I read it my Polar Bear cub was transparent. I don't remember it dying or being killed, but he was just walking around and you could see right through him! :shocked Could someone tell me if there are ghost animals or if my computer has a glitch. (it might help if i tell you that I have ES)

i don't think its a glitch because it happens on alot of peoples computer even mine ( one of my tapirs turend into one)

When live animals turn transparent it's a glitch (usually it can be fixed when you exit) when dead animals come back it's an easter egg.

i only had ghosts not alive see thro animals so w00t lol but yeah lots of people get those i get real ghosts tho :cool

See through animals is an easter egg. They are ghosts! Guest get scared of them.

see through animals can happen at any time, any place and it's a glitch. To someone who has a real ghost, can you please post a picture ? All ghosts that I got are normal (exept you can see through them) animals. This ia a glitch, NOT an easter egg.

Okay, one, it's not a glitch, it just means they were doing something while they were dying and didn't die. Two, there is ghosts in the game, there's even a new file and everything.

no, it is a glitch when normal animals go transparent. I had a perfectly healthy penguin do that on me. I saved and came back later and he was normal again. There are two ways. I think they accidently messed up so live animals sometimes go transparent, but they ment to be able to make dead animals come back.

I usually raise musk ox for my challenge zoos, right? So, one day, I notice a completely transparent musk ox..that wasn't dead! Ever since that fateful day, at least one of my musk ox are transparent. IT'S SO ANNOYING!!!!!!!! :angry :angry :angry

I think that is exactly the deal, from my experience.

Oh, it's a game, lighten up. It's suppposed to be fun. I think it's great humor...I'm only dissapointed I haven't seen one myself. Do these only show up in freeform? or in scenario and challenge too?

I have had two true ghosts. At least i am pretty sure they were. One a Javan Rhino and the other a Tapirin a freeform level. ANd i think it is pretty cool adition, that might be a hint to the next expansion, like the unlockable triceratops in the first game.

Yeah, at least I HOPE its a hint to the next one! It's always a pain waiting for the next expansion form to come out, especially when you spend all your time wondering what it is!

Anyway, I think the ghosts are kind of cool additions! It adds something to the game, even if it isn't very realistic...

The ghosts usually don't bother me, it's just that they take away from the realism a little bit.

Ahem, in case you didn't notice, ZT2 has no fatansy animals. It's clearly trying to be a realisitic game. :whistle

I think they were talking about ZT1, but I still think i'd be better if they made a strictly realistic game instead of putting ghosts and fantasy animals though...

Yeah, didn't BF and MS say Zoo Tycoon 2 and it's expansion was headed toward realism?

I agree, ghost animals just kinda give me the heebie jeebies. I don't wanna go in and edit anything though. But it would be nice if they had an off button on ghost animals or simply a download for those of us that don't want them. I've found they're trying to make the San Diego zoo stuff. There's a legend that say when the animals died, they were so happy living that they came back to life!(not for young children to read!)
