Oddly for me, I had Zebras and Wildebeast herd together. In fact, I had 3 Wildebeast and 2 Zebras and they followed eachother. The Wildebeast also called to the Zebra and then they moved to another part of the exibit.

To my knowledge that's natural - wildebeest and zebra eat different parts of the grass (I think the zebra eat the top and the wildebeest eat the bottom) so they stick together to feed better and watch for predators better. And let's face it, the more critters around you, the less chance you have of being eaten : :) :

If I take an animal and put it far away from its herd because its' needs are critical from doing herding behavior too long it goes right back and joins the herd again. It sometimes even tries if there is a fence in its' way. My animals want to be a herd, and can't stop them. :slol:

Which animals herd? I've only seen wildebeest and African buffalo do it.

I think zebras and prezwalski's horses also herd, as do caribou - I think most grazing herbivores herd.  :)

I have a question:
Is it possible, that i put low fence around an exhibit with Lions, Tigers or any other big cats? Or can they escape?

I'm really sorry for my bad english i hope, you understand it :whistling:

They will escape but if you keep them happy they won't escape immediately.
