Maybe it's just me who hasn't had this for a long time, but does anyone know why Message of the Day has dissapeared? I always liked this feature, be it to update us on upcoming expansions or downloads, or just to give us a fun fact each day. It just seems a shame the BF are seemingly no longer supporting this game feature.

It is a shame,:

: people could learn some intresting stuff, and it would alert us of new downloads and upcoming expansion packs. I can't remember if it quit after AA or MM.

That thing was pretty cool. It's how I learned about AA in the first place. Oh well, it's not like it was the best part of ZT2, but it still was cool.

Last week I got a new computer so I had to re-load ZT2 and all the EPs - and it's back... I have no idea why though.. but like JohnZTMaster, mine seem to be mostly repeats...

what u think about this:
a lot of people cal the bf team and ask why the messages don't come up anymore, and other thing that i noticed is that there is a lot of time sinc e they change something on the site, like bonus downloads and extras, not just for english but to other languages =/
they must be of vacation or something because it1s a little weard

we got an addax in like October (or november or something) so it's been pretty recent.

They don't seem to do Escapades or Ask the Zookeeper any more.

There are two files in the Default Profile folder. One, motd.xml, contains the messages, the other one, motdlog.xml is a log file showing - I assume - the number of times each message has been seen. Looks like the same old messages are repeated over and over. I haven't seen any new message in ages.

They update it evert two weeks- and, besides, they are plenty busy with all the new stuff they have planned for us! And there is a new animal escapade and Ask The Zookeeper. I just checked.

And the Message of the Day seems to be working for me.

Well it seems to me that for some reason every time i have user made content it disappears.When i removed the it appeared again.I don't know if this is case,but it appears to be it in my opion.
