No Relation Babies
« on: April 01, 2007, 10:46:53 AM »
Well, when I was playing my 2nd generation zoo, my lemurs all had their babies right? And the babies grew up, and I got the new animals and blah blah blah. The parents kept having children, then all the sudden, there's this baby (I even got the note that said it was born from Lemur 2) and I check who it's parents were (Since the mate who mated with Lemur 2's daughter mated with her mother ><) and there wasn't any info o.O, NONE. It was like it popped out of the ground! :faint Has anyone else had this problem?

Were the parents still alive?  The game tends to lose the parents information if the parents die.

All of my lemurs were alive and well, the originals and all the children.

Sometimes if the mating goes weird and the mom or someone decides to mate with someone new the old family tree is replaced with a new one leaving "orphans"

I have had this happen with fennec foxes. I had 1 male and seven females, and in a fe months I had 87 f. foxes and some of them were orphans. All the originals were alive, but after a month they died.
