"Show Failed to Start"

Alright, what does one do when it says "Your show failed to start, show aborted animals not ready" or something similar?

(can't remember the actual message, but it does go through it's timer and countdown, then it just says "Show aborted"...etc)

My animals are trained (through the super trainer) and always 2-4 tricks to be able to do in a show tank. Tank levels match, water is proper, biome is correct, animals are happy.

Why would it say that?

they arnt happy  (their needs are low)

They ARE happy, I checked the needs--all needs met.

Have you made sure that they are able to go through the tank portal to the show tank? You have to have one installed PLUS you have to have the portal actually accessible from both sides. If you have a trick area or a trick training area too close to the portal, the animals won't be able to swim through.

Are you sure that the animals aren't doing other things when the show is about to start?  Sometimes they miss a show when they're mating or giving birth or something like that.

I will check the portals... that might be it. I know I have the keeper's entrance close to the tank wall of the performance tank, so maybe it is too close to the portals..
