Does anyone know what the greyed-out windy tundra biome was there for in zoo tycoon 2?

I think you might be talking about where 'normally' the vegetative part of the biome is (for instance, in the rainforest where the biome brush would also place trees and plants). In the tundra biome, this is disabled because there are so few trees and plants.

well that gets updated and its taken away in MM2 so that may be why now one remembers or w/e
