I Just Messed Up...

I reinstalled Zoo Tycoon 2 and ES because I accidentally wrecked the Entities file.   :><

Now, whenever I put a user-created animal in my downloads folder, it doesn't show up in the game. Did the location of my folder change? What do I do? I need to know how to fix this so I can test my animal skins.

Did you create the downloads folder yourself or did you first download all the official content to create the downloads folder ?

No, I didn't make the downloads folder by myself...and the official content downloaded when I installed ES.

did you try putting the z2f file and the dl file for the downloads directly into C:/Program Files/Microsoft Games/Zoo Tycoon

When you do this put in just the files no extra folders. and see if your downloads will work.

I think what has happened

Because as far as I know there is no regisrty cleaner for ZT2 as yet your system still had old registry settings for ZT2 when you installed it. This could be why the game is not recognizing the new install the same way.

When you install downloads in the future just use the method mentioned above and they should work for you.
