Just recently, I was playing and I had a Galapagos Tortoise exhibit. When I later came to it, all of the guests within the area were running around in circles screaming their heads off, saying "The Galapagos tortoise are running free here!" The fences to the exhibit were in poor maientenance so I fixed them myself. But my guesets are still going balistic. What's going on!? :crazy

Gosh, THAT'S odd, isn't it? :blink It's not like they would BITE anybody or anything!? I would have thought guests would treat them like peafowl. (frowns in puzzlement)

Actually, it is natural for guests to flee from tortoises in the game. But what baffles me is even though I fixed the fencing completely, guests still freak out and think the tortoises have escaped! :huh

Why in the world WOULD they flee from tortoise??? I'm puzzled. :shocked  :8

As to the fencing, I've discovered that when that happens to me, if I get REALLy close and go around the fence completely, I find there's one, little spot I've missed. Try that. :happy

Also, I have found that sometimes putting the animal in a crate and removing them to the sidewalk, then putting them back, helps.

I've had this happen...I had a mixed boreal exibet (Grizzlies, wolves, wolverines) thet had an elevated pathway over it. The gujests on the pathway were running around screaming. Their thoughts were like: "Gray Wolf 1 is attacking me!" However, Gray Wolf 1 was peacefull eating from the artificial carcass. Then the zookeepers went in and started shooting all the animals...and yes, they were completely closed in and ignoring the guests.

SHOOTING them????  :shocked I've NEVER seen that happen. I've seen them chase and crate them, but NEVER shoot them! Did they shoot them DEAD?

I think wolves, bears, and wolverines are all OK with the concrete fence. I even used the zookeeper asignment flag thingy to see if they were "cotained." And they were. The guests wern't falling off the elevated pathway either. And is kinda hard to believe "Grizzly Bear So-and-so" is attacking gust "Such-and-such" when 'Grizzly Bear So-and-so" is asleep... :erm

Well, actually, if you search the Posts, you'll find that mentioned in several threads, mostly 'bugs in ZT2' I THINK (my memory is faulty). I tried looking for it, but I couldn't find it myself! (how embarrasing... sorry :blush ). But it IS there.

Um... I'm no mod or admin but this is a thread for Wildlife Park. Not ZT2. :mellow So... can we stay on topic? :)
