Wildlife Park 2 English demo available. Recieved this in an email recently sorry I didn't post it sooner. But here it is.

Strategy Informer has the following new items hosted, if you could include them in a news post or mirror list that would be greatly appreciated.

Description: With the first three missions prospective zoo directors can get a taste of the gripping campaign. A map for sandbox mode in the African savannah with a limited number of animals and building options is available as well!

I sure do wish I had known about that site sooner! I followed the link straight from the website, and it quit twice in the middle of downloading and took FOREVER.

It does work on my computer, but I had to stop playing because my husband started making comments about why I would want AA for my birthday if I want to play a different zoo game....:laughing: :laughing: :pooh_lol:

I'm really surprised it wouldn' work on my computer, my computer is really new and really fast. I can play ZT2 with over 200 animals with almost no choppiness (if i have high graffics it will be a little choppy though) That game just doesn't seem worth a whole new vido card when other games like Doom3 and AOE3 can play on my computer.

I tried the demo and the game is EXCELLENT in my opinion!

Only thing that stinks though is that you can't save your parks on the demo.

I tried it. The graphics are great and my favorite thing is how there is no grid. The problem is that it lags some and I want to rotate the camera faster. I probably won't be buying this game for a while....

yeah vitrually eveyone gets that message and it means you have to get a new graphic card. stupid having a game that only about 5% of the population can play

Yes that really doesn't make any sense to me. They kind of did that with Age of Empires III, where all the people who had Intel graphics chipsets couldn't do naval battles because it got so slow. But this is even stranger because it's a zoo game and therefore more family oriented as opposed to hardcore gamer oriented.

I downloaded the German version on my brand new mega computer and it took about 15-20 minutes. And it worked great! Downloaded the English version on my old computer with the same time, and the graphics card wasn't powerful enough.

And, is the goat just called a goat, or is it specifically called mountain goat? As in the actual species and not just in general?

I'v got that demo and it works fine on 2 of our computers at home. They recently got all uprgaded to high graphics etc. while the other 3 are really quite old and slow. It looks really good though i'm not quite sure if i'll get it or not yet...I wish you could save games on the demo!

Yea, I think it is pretty lame of them to make us have to buy new stuff, I had the same pixel-shader problem, or whatever. I won't buy the game until I can play the demo, too bad for them.

I got it but when I try to play one of the trainning it shutsdown it down and resarts it but I have a very powerful comp it can run Half Life 2 Age of Empires III and many other high graphic games and Wild Life Park 2 looks like Pac man compared to those games I need help I want to play the demo
Edit:and what I mean shutsdown it turns off my computer

Man, this stinks. I went through the whole dowload process and I saw all the pictures and got over exited and then I tried to play the game and I couldn't 'cause I don't have the stupid pixel shader. Grrrr...

Unfortunately it means you don't have a good enough video card to support the game. If you have a desktop you could maybe upgrade your card.
