Well just a note- I find that setting Animation Detail and Object Detail to low will dramatically decrease the incidents of the animals glitching, but the guests still walk around naked.

I have a GeForceMX 128MB DDR AGP8x/4x card and never had any problems before installing AA.I use to run at medium or sometimes high setting with out a problem.I have the same issues now.I tried uninstalling .I first installed just ES and no problems until I reinstalled AA.I tried using custom setting and got it to the point were I can play with the animals right and the environment looks ok,the torches have fire ect,but now my people are all black except for their heads ,like my animals were before.And just to add in the begining I had black animals when they were but in the game and also invisable ones.I have been playing since ZT1came out and this is driving me crazy .Thanks for any help.:

bilmar, do your adult guests walk around without shirts, and do your children walk around completely naked? if so we have the exact same problem. it seems to occur with Nvidia cards.

Since I've been experiencing the problem with the card I have (the Nvidia GeForce 4 mx40 agp8X) I am contemplating upgrading cards. Is there a card that doesn't seem to have as many problems with zoo tycoon 2 than others? I noticed there seemed to be a number of issues related to cards in the readme file. Should I wait to upgrade until after any bugs with other cards have been ironed out? I was only able to set everything to a max of medium with my current card, even before the problems with the animal skins and the people clothes.

I also have a Nvidia card, personal cinema, I am having the same problem. My animals are all white and everyone is either naked or topless! Since I am already posting I thought I would mention that I am disappointed in the AA expansion for the price you only get 1 campaign! 1 one thing to unlock, desert theme. I am very disappointed so far!

This problem that people are having with the GeForce card is odd. I have a Nvidia GeForce mx4 and AA works perfectly on my computer.

However.. I can sort of relate. I've been trying to install Call of Cthulhu to no avail.. it seems that my card is too out of date for that game. :

I don't know what the problem is. I have a nVidia GeForce 4800 GTX card.

I'm not sure what the problem is. It just seems that Zoo Tycoon AA has a flaw... or, maybe, it's just a glitch. I'm not hooked up to the i-net. Maybe that's it?

Well this is odd. Not all Nvidia cards have the problem, obviously. I'm not sure if it is a bug in the game or if our graphic cards aren't strong enough?

Hopefully BF/M$ gives us some input soon.

I have the problem too except my animals were invisible unless I had then in view from a certain postion, but then they would be all white. The people had heads but where there clothes were to be I had all black except some had jeans on. I did set the graphics to low so I could see my animals. I have a geForce card also.

Well I downloaded and installed the nvidia patch as was suggested.
Children are naked and Women's tops are missing. Men do have jeans on now.
I tried to set graphics to medium and animals were invisible or white depending on the point of view. So I set graphics to low and can see animals..

Yes guests are still naked. Cheech, set your graphics back to medium then go to custom, and lower the Object Detail and Animation Detail to low. Your animals will still show up right, but the guests will not.

I am so mad about this!! I won't even play the game. They better hurry up and find a fix for this! If the Nvidia graphics cards we have aren't good enough that should have been said before I spent 30 bucks on this game!

:original: We had the same problem with AA. Our dad and one of us spent hours trying to figure out how to fix it. We did not find a single reference to it, until we found your site. I lowered the graphics to low, which showed the animals right, but the biomes are blurry, and the guest are still messed up. Just thought it might help if I mentioned it.

Before I put the patch in the people weren't naked they were black except for faces
and that was on the low setting and the animals were back to normal.
