Hi i'm pink_rhino and this is my first show thread so tell me if i'm doing something wrong!
P.S. I got some of my ideas from jurassicmatt's Future Zoo.
Well here goes...

Welcome to Emerald Grove. It is the year 2231. I plan to make the world' first zoo since 2118, when the meteorite fell and wiped out nearly all life on earth. Due to man's technology, my ancestors and others survived. So here I am, ready to bring back the world's lost gems. The Animals!!

So... Me and my best friend Jake started work. Soon as we get some animals, Jake will be Head Keeper.

Soon enough with the help from all our friends, the portal was finished! This is our ticket to time travel. It should be very precise...

Next is the vet center. My sister Farah will be the onsite vet. She is a doctor at the moment.

After a lot of work, I mean a lot of work, the vet center was done complete with 3 intensive care rooms and a mother and baby room.

To make the center complete, the Team created 6 outdoor pens.

So, now to go on our first mission. We are going to travel back to the lush rainforests of Southeast Asia to try and capture the elusive Orangutan. We will travel back to 1993, bacause they became excinct in the wild in 2101 due to the desruction of the last remaining rainforest areas. The last Orangutan died in San Diego Zoo in 2137.

Right. Place and Date pinpointed, here we go!

So here we are! The tropical rainforests in Southeast Asia. No sign of any animals yet though. :

With 1 hansome male tiger ready to take home we start our quest to find the elusive Orangutan.

-*5 days later*-

After researching Orangutans we know they like durians and figs so we put some in a clearing and started waiting. After about an hour, 1 male and 2 female Orangutans entered the clearing. They eagerly started on the fruit.

We only caught two (The third escaped) and soon took them back to the camp along with the tiger.

Jake and his team have started on the new Orangutan exhibit.

After a good night's sleep we wake up to a spectacular sight!

A small crash of Javan Rhinos! The whole team look at oneanother then all grab their tranquiliser guns. After 5 long hours, the team bag 5 Rhinos. 2 healthy males, 2 healthy females and 1 female with a nasty wound. We then immediatly open the portal and return to EG.

Me: No, only 2

Jake: What are the other 6?

Me: No time. Farah, one of the rhinos are hurt. Can you take it to the center?

Farah: Yeah. Certainly.

-*4 hours later*-
Farah: Hopefully the Rhino will be okay. It's leg was badly infected. The next 24 hours are crutial.

It is a new day in Emerald Grove.

The Orangutan Enclosure is now the home to Tenang the tiger.

Two new enclosures were built for the Orangutans, Buddah and Sundance, and the Javan Rhinos, Kingo and Sohan (males), Sarah, Katherine and Kirana (females).

Very cool idea, and zoo. hint: if you'r souposed to be in the middle of the tundra or jungle, try to take pictures in the middle of the map, so not be able to see the enetrance or walls.

I need names for 2 male Musk Oxes, 1 female Musk Ox, 1 female Polar Bear, 1 male Polar Bear, 2 female Caribou and 1 male Caribou!

Farah: The Musk Ox is in bad shape. She was probably attacked by a polar bear. Since the seal became extinct 10 years before the time period you entered, the Bears must have started targeting these poor creatures. She may not make it through the night. We have decided to call her Olga (name chosen by germanwolf). You got her here just in time.

We are looking for the marsupial, the Red Kangaroo.
Jake and Farah think it will make a good addition to EG. Looking around, I can't see anything.

-*Next Day*-
Here is a track. we are gonna follow it. See if we can see any animals.

-*Day 3*-
Still nothing. I think we might have to abort the mission.

Right. The trap is very simple. The Kangaroos are attracted by the eucalyptus and carrots. We then shut the gates and BAM! We've got a Kangaroo!
