I`ve known of the date for October 17 for a long time its just the gnomes and wardens keept us quit about Mm2 and I have to srata saving up and AGE 3 The Warchiefs comes out the same day and am so exited about this I can`t wait fo it MM2 am about to burst

I'm pretty sure that the Jellyfish is food for the Leatherback Seaturtle. Isn't it?

Yes, but in one of the pictures of the killer whales on the offical website there was a very large jellyfish that looked more like an animal. Now that I think about it, it's probably a portugese man-of-war.

zookeeperrob, the great white shark was confirmed as a White Shark on the MM2 demo page.
ironchef, that looked more like a lion's mane to me, and I think that was an ambient but who knows.
They do have a lot of animals confirmed: 7 Cetaceans, 6 fish, 3 pinnipeds, 2 reptiles, 1 siren, and 1 bird- that's 19!!! I wonder what the last animal will be, hopefully an octopus.

I can't wait until the real version comes out! Maybe the glitches will be fixed, like the penguin egg biome problem.

The jelly fish is not an animal, I'm sure abt it 100%(ambient maybe) And there's no Octopus also! But there is an Octopus, like not an animal, but you know that Insect House and that Reptile thing, like that one Octopus and a Seahorse thing will be there. (saw this in the Credits thing as an art in the demo!)

No, Amazon says it will be in stock, not released, on Oct 20, probably due to all the pre-orders. My order still says it will ship tomorrow.

I do know that EBgames and Gamestop WILL have MM2 tomorrow in stock, they always usually get it in the next day. Plus I emailed them and they said it would be in tomorrow.

I pre-ordered MM2 and the strategy guide off of amazon.com. They said that they were going to ship it to me on Nov. 1st, 2nd, or 3rd!:angry: I cancelled my order and I am just going to buy the stuff from amazon.

I just checked the availability on Gamestop for MM2 and it said that this was not available( the data, not the game). Yesterday it had a list of all the GS's in my area, with pre-release in units of stock, does this mean that they have it in and they just need to update the site?????

Sometimes you just have to call if nothing comes up, I'm going to do that later. I emailed Gamestop again, so I'll see what's up. Mine keeps saying that no results were available and I know I'm using the correct zip code.:wacko:

I called the Gamestop closest to me and they said it shipped, but doesn't show it on the recieved inventory, to come in anyway. So I'm going this afternoon, I'm hoping they have it *crosses fingures*, can't wait to dive in!

Well, looks like the Oct. 17th date was... shall we say, innacurate? Maybe that was the day it was shipped to stores...
Walmart doesn't have it yet, Circuit City's date on their website is listed as 10/27/06, Best Buy's date is 10-19...
I tried calling all of the above stores (the only things in my area) and couldn't get through at Circuit City or Best Buy so all I have to go on is what's on the website.
Oh well. I was hoping to get it right away, but I guess I'll have to wait...

I just got my copy at Target for $24.99 ,it is in their ad this week.I can't believe how cool it is!I feel like I am at sea world .I will be spending many hours playing this for sure.I can't wait for my daughter to get home from school so I can play with her.:specool:

That's true. What target did you go to bilmarjess? near what major city in what state? I live in Beaver, PA near Pittsburgh. I think target may have it though. Because I remember hearing that AA came out in Target way before other stores got it.
I just read that MM2 will not be in stores at Target til 10/20/06. That's weird.

Here's a trick I'm going to try. If my target has it and it's not out, I'm going to go ask in person if they do. That way they know I'm there to buy the game instead of asking if they have it over phone. If that doesn't work, then I'll get it tomorrow.
I'm going there now, so if you don't hear from me later today, that means I got it and I'm not getting off of it.

I reserved a copy of Marine Mania and Battlefield 2142 on Tuesday and meant to get it today. Instead i was caught up playing the BF2142 DEMO with a group of friends. xP I was playing the demo the whole time and forgot to get the actual game.

You know, me not being on here since yesterday afternoon, should have been a hint that I got it!!!:woot: And I got it! They had only two left. It's an excellent game, I still have to learn the basics though:laughing: If you have any questions feel free to ask. Everything is great about the game( Blue Fang did SUCH a GREAT JOB!; however I do need to warn you about something. Hopefully BF will read this and fix it. Everything about the game is VERY pixilated, meaning kind of fuzzy, not very clear. The graphics aren't affected very much by this but you can see it is very minutely pixilated because guests and objects outlines are a little fuzzy and so are their happy faces and what they're thinking. The animals are not affected by this for some reason nor plants, just guests and all objects. I know its not my computer because all of the menus are all fuzzy and pixilated too, words look smeared and blurred, and icons look pixilated. And by menus, I mean campaign, freeform, challenge, and even the in game taskbar, where you click on to adopt animals and all those icons are blurry and so are all the words on the game. Even the animals in the adopt an animal are blurry and so are there pictures. However you can not see any of this in guest mode, so that's good. Does nayone else notice this either?
If you guys want me to I can get a few pics?

I don't have Marine Mania yet, but this worked in the demo: Create an exhibit using at least one section of normal (non-tank) fencing, fill it with water, then use the terrain tools to make the water as deep or as shallow as you want. Then you can have islands and different depths and all that good stuff. :)

You cannot change the elevation of a tank except to lower or raise the entire floor. If you want to have hills in a tank environment you'll need to make it a hybrid you where you place tank wall, then place water on one side and lower the ground on the othe :).
I don't acually have the game yet, but that's how it was in the demo.

Yep, as long as you leave at least one tile of normal fencing, it won't become an actual tank and auto-fill with water, so you can customize it however you want.

I got mine yesterday at Target. Target always has it out on the day that its due (as in the day they say it is) . I found that out after the first 2 expansions. xP Nearly drove my mom crazy with the quest to find Zoo Tycoon 2 on the first day.

You go over the tank and hit Guest Mode and you're in the tank. To go up/down, use your arrow keys. Hitting Shift while hitting up/down makes you go faster, just as on land. You only swim WITH the animal if you hit spacebar.

well, i dont know what you mean. i'll take a guess. (after 8 solid hrs. of play.) you just use the mouse to look down, then click to move forward, or you can use the wheel on the top of the mouse, roll it forward, youll descend straight down.

I got it with a brand new computer and a very high end one at that. i was able to put all the graphic options on the highest they can go and still have 20 exhibits. I quit at 20.... who knows what the future will bring.:cards: Im mostly excited for all the wonderful creators to get there hands on some of this stuff and create new things, new varients, varient ambiants. i live in quebec and i own the Zoo tycoon 2 series in english
To my amazement marine mania was release in french. the french version of game usually come WAY later.
but i cant find the english version anywhere every stores (eb games best buy future shop etc) only have the french and didnt receive the english version yet.
then i searched the web and amazon.ca say the english version dont ship in canada until the 24th.
so my question is do anyone in quebec if there is any, have the english version yet?
if any have it does anyone know when we will actually have it

It's being released at the same time all over the U.S., but if you live far from any major city then it might take a while to get there, if that's the case then the best option is just to order from Amazon.
