Thing is, I can never get the road to go through the tree, or the tree to go on top of the road.  I don't know why this doesn't work.  Is it just me?

You have to build the road first, then put the Sequoia Tunnel over a straight section.:flipper:

Do not put a Gibbon with a banana food dish because with my ES they wouldn't eat it and i tried putting them right beside it, but they just did their attempted flying thing and ran away. In the end i got  angry and let a tiger loose on them.

please, no attempted foul language, and letting a tiger loose on them would probably make you lose some fame.

please do not quote bad language it only makes things worse

this is really neat.  if you want to put landscaping while using an elevated path (since plants are not able to be put on elevated paths, here's what to do:

1. first, build a path with a hole in it about 2 squares by 2 squares.  it can be larger if you want.
2. then, inside the newly built hole, make a hill as tall as you can (it usually levels out with the path.  if not, use the flatten terrain tool.) and cover it with whatever terrain you like.
3.  now all you have to do is add trees, rocks etc. etc...

i'll try to get pics out soon.

ok, i didn't see any other boards about this and it seems like a good place to ask.

I am new to es and i am trying to build a sky tram, i used the t poles.  I have one station near my markhor and ibex exibit and one ending in the center point of the zoo, a very short walk away from a restarant and restroom.  Anyways, i did not originally connect the stations, i didn't think it was needed.  When i tried to open it to buy vehicles it said it was incomplete. So i then tried to connect the two stations and it won't let me connect, can someone please help me figure out what i am doing wrong, i really like the sky trams.  Also i am playing in sandbox mode so money is not an issue.

The stations do need to be connected to each other using the sky tram poles

If you're planning on using one thread of poles (where the tram turns around in the station) it's  a little more tricky. You need to use the double poles and link them to one station. Then connect from that station and link it back by selecting the double poles.
It's a little buggy though so sometimes you need to bulldoze the poles and start again (weirdly I find looking at the zoopedia where it mentions the method before doing it seems to improve the success rate )
It is also often a good idea to build your sky tram circuit first so you don't have to delete any trees/objects that are in the way later (they show up red when you're placing the sky tram poles).
If you still can't get that method to work, then I'd recommend connecting the sky tram as normal, as per the tutorial in the game.

Um, i think i know what you are trying to tell me, also i finally got it working or so i thought, but the guest wouldn't go on it.  I didn't see anything about sky tram building on the tutorial but i was using the sky tram post that has cables on both sides so it can go in each direction.  The insert that came with the came says i can make multiple stations where they can get off too.  Maybe i should start a new sandbox just made for figuring out how to get these sky trams working like i want.  As for stuff being in the way, that wasn't an issue for me really.  Thanks for the tips and hopefully i will have the thriving zoo of my dreams soon
