May've gotten through the gate as the keeper went in/out. Though I think they may pop out sometimes cause of a bug, I dunno. I once saw my baby camel outside the fence, but the gate was on the other side of the exhibit (it was a big one, camels and gazelles mixed) and I got no 'animal is not contained' messages. What I find annoying about gazelles though, is that they breed like rabbits. Put 2 gazelles in an exhibit, next thing you know you're up to 'Thomson's Gazelle 346'. :P lol

Have you ever noticed the gazzelles always escape even though there are fences around them?

That's a glitch. It happens when you scroll from side to side. When your game chops, the world moves, but all animated things (a.k.a. people, animals and staff) don't move. They stay stationary, but everything else moves.

I've had that happen with a female moose; but it was only because it jumped the fence (tigers were with it; had to move the moose after that) and also a camel (keeper left the gate open).

I actually remember making a big savannah exhibit next to the moose/tiger exhibit; but I missed one fence section somehow; and when I was walking around I noticed my leopards crossing over into the boreal exhibit!  I grabbed them as fast as I could and moved them back; then fixed the fence.

But the only animals I have ever seen act like that were my snow leopards.  One would just stand there and roar at snow leopard 4 over and over again.  (I got some pictures :cool) but I ended up getting rid of it.  Wasn't feeding itself or anything.

When animals keep doing a certain thing like roaring, you put them in the water and then they stop.

I had this problem with baby wolves. The baby starts barking non-stop (and baby wolves' bark sound like a cat coughing up a hairball). The wolf it barks at is usually its mother but the mother totally ignores it. I tried picking it up and placing it down but it goes right back at it. Moving the wolf it's barking at seems to work better, but not always.

It also happens with the baby fennecs. And their bark is SO annoying when it goes on for a long time, especially if several babies do it at the same time.

my animals escape if I put a shelter against the fence. They seem to just walk right through the back of the shelter and the back fence unless i put something behind the fence where the shelter is.

Ok this is interesting problems but what exactly does it have to do with elephants? as the topic says?

This has one off topic. Maybe this is more for a general topic as the About the ES or tips or somthing. So this is :closed.
