Help With A Challenge

Not sure if this is in the right section, mods please move if it's not.  

I just got ES for Christmas and was playing a challenge zoo. I got a photo challenge where you have to take 3 pictures, can't remember what the other 2 were but the third one was to take a pic of a young Komodo dragon climbing a lookout post. Well luckily I had an egg when I got the challenge, so as soon as the egg hatched I put in a lookout tower and started watching the baby non-stop. So far it hasn't gone anywhere near the tower. It once said "going to investigate the lookout tower" but apparently he got bored on the way there because he changed course and did something else. I've tried picking him up and putting him down by the tower, I took out the big rock he liked to climb on, thinking maybe if he got bored enough he'd go for it. I tried putting about 6 towers in the exhibit, so far nothing has worked.

Has anyone ever seen their baby Komodo dragon actually use the lookout tower?  :blink

its easy (:lol only took me about 5 hours to figurte it out) - to get them to use the lookout tower make sure you have nothing else for them to climb to get away from their parents so no trees no rocks nothing then they will climb the tower to escape being bitten by the adults.

Several have - FINALLY. But it's a bear of a challenge and I suggest you decline it (you can, you know) and take the next one that comes along. The others are not as hard. I know I finally declined the komodo one 'cause it was just TOO hard.  :sad

I moved the tower close to the food and water, where I knew the baby would need to eventually be! The parents came next and he climbed right up!
And yes, as Rednotdead mentioned, you must removed the rocks as well

See, that's weird. I know in real life the babies have to live in the trees so the adults don't kill them, but so far my baby loves his mommy and daddy. It'll say things like "going to greet Komodo dragon 1".  I haven't seen any sign of them being aggressive towards him. I even took a really cute picture of him sleeping in the burrow with one of the adults. I haven't seen him climb any trees either. Maybe my exhibit's too big?

Just put it in a small exhibit with no food, water,plants and rocks, it'll get bored and climb the lookout post.

Surround it with big ones, then it'll climb,  :whistle
