Hi I got the zoo tycoon 2 expansion pack today which installed fine with no probs and direct 9 installed fine too.But when I go to start any game on it it doest load??
I can be sat there for 10 mins with the game say like tutorial loading but nothing else I so want to play this,Does anyone know why it wont work ???

I have this problem sometimes as well.

What is happening is there are to many programs running in the background on your PC .

These programs are using system ram that ZT needs to use to run depending on the amount of system ram you have.

The solution to this is to disable the programs that are running in the background.
Most of the time these are the programs running

Anti-virus programs
Firewall programs
MSN or Yahoo or other messenger programs
Mouse utility programs that came with your system
Spybot or Adaware or other spyware detecting programs

All of these programs have to be shut down or disabled so the ram they are using is free for ZT to use.

If you know how to do this then what I do when going to play ZT is reboot my system - disable all of the above programs - Start ZT and it loads and runs fine.

If you don't know how to do this ask your parents or whoever owns the system to this for you.

Ok I did as you said but im getting the windows error come up.

Also I notcied that the freeform game loads fine its just the campagin game that its happening too.Im real fed up now cause I love zoo and cant play the expansion game not to mention i wasted money on it.
