Might be any number of things:

1. Did you take any challenges? If you did, you may have taken the one where you can't hire staff for a month.

2. You could have a glitch if you're having so many technical problems.

3. As a last resort, you could try reinstalling. Again. :lol

If this is a technical problem, it's with the 3D rendering engine. Then I can't help. But my best advice would be to completely untinstall ZT2, and then run a disk Defragmentor and a scan disk. After that, run a virus scan, and if that shows up all clean, re-install.

Unless you save it on a floppy disc, yeah.

Like i said, basically wipe the game off your computer and start from scratch. And if you do this, don't save your zoo. One of my friends had the same problem. After he wiped, everything was alright, until he brought back his zoo. Then the problem started again.

Try to restart your game first before reinstalling it - might save you some time..

you could just move those zoos to other files then put them back in once your done reinstalling, but like stated above this is not recommended.
