Shelter Help
« on: July 24, 2005, 08:55:53 AM »
I had this one challenge where i switched some of my animals for some others and i got cheetahs. The chettahs privacy lvl was getting really high even with fence blocking. They wanted a shelter but the only type of shelters i had were the wooden and shade. so when i put wooden alot of  guests started leaving the cheetah exhbit and getting mad. There thoght bubbles said cheetah 3 or 1, 2 looks very weird with a small wodden shelter even though the reccommandations said cheetah would like that shelter.

Any help would greatly be appreciated

I would try using the shade structure instead of the wooden one.  I've found that a lot of animals look odd to the guests using the wooden shelter, but I have yet to see a guest complaining about an animal resting under the shade structure.  Then hope your zoo fame goes up so you can research a cave!  (If I remember correctly I think that's one of the shelters they really want.)  I use shade structures a lot in mixed exhibits because it keeps the larger animals from using the smaller shelters and looking weird.  Hope that helps!

If you can't afford or get the right shelter hide it behind a hill gives the animal extra privacy and you wont get those comments :D
