I just finished installing my complete collection and I am stuck on surf and turf! Everytime I start to put animals is the game gets an error and it shuts down, it saved but is there some kind of patch that I need to put in or something like that?

How did you beat though? I can go like 10 minutes before the game suts down again, all the other senarios work just fine.

Well, I Tried Again And I Put In 2 Red Dragons And 2 B. nose Dolphins And I Won! I Also Put In Llamas,Sheep,P.Wild Horses,Whale Sharks,Belugas,Bigfoot,Unicorns,Caracals,And African Dogs

Let's see....try lots of exhibits close together (guests tend to not like big gaps between exhibits :crazy), tour guides, restaurants instead of food courts, and lots of flowers. Hope this helps!!!

Ok I can get the rating to 84 and then the game freezez and quits! Help cause I dont want to restart now!!!

I had that happen to me, but it was because I had used the Unicorn cheat, and not REnamed the exhibit. I had just named it, and when I deleted the exhibit, it stopped. Maybe you did a cheat a bit wrong?
I find it helpful to save all scenarios while in the middle, and when you complete them, so if you have to reinstall, or get a new version, you don't have to redo all the scenarios. But, that's just me.

I always have a horrible time with zoo ratings, though, so you might not listen to me.

i am way stuck on this one-i get the rating to 84 and then it wont go any higher no matter how many flowers,lamps or gardens i add-im so frustrated with this-my game randomly decides if it likes or dislikes a scenario and can shut down when it feels like it-

anyone recomend any marine/animals/dinos that raise the rating?

Dolphins, belugas, porpoises, etc are very attractive animals to guests. Try to avoid saurians.

Panda's and other endangered animals are also popular. I always founf Nawhal's, Beluga's and Orca's opoular as well.

Could someone please tell me whether the "Surf and Turf" Scenario is a "Complete Collection" Scenario or a "Marine Mania", "Dinosaur Digs Scenario for Zoo Tycoon 1, please? I would like to download it if it is. I already have the "Christmas Tree Farm, "Beach Resort", "Arctic Zoo", "Carnivore Zoo", "South East Asian Zoo" and "Ultimate Zoo". I'm assuming all of these are Zoo Tycoon 1 Scenarios, although I don't know how I missed downloading the "Arctic Zoo" scenario. Thank you.

I believe the Surf and Turf scenario is listed as a Marine Mania scenario.

That's what I'm trying to find out. Someone on ZTUF said it was a "hook" to get people to buy the Zoo Tycoon Complete Collection,(I posted this same question there as well, but they had it under ZT1 Marine Mania and I've been unable to find out the real truth and any places to download it.
I just went to the Downloads section of this site, and downloaded the Surf And Turf from the Saved Scenarios section and tried it out. Didn't work. Wasn't in the list.

What do you mean by it wasn't on the list???
It looks like it is a beginner level MM scenerio, not one of the 4 that were created for ZTCC.

Actually I didn't have surf and turf when I had only mm and dd. I did have it after getting complete collecton. :whistle

total; 50% healthiness earns 7.5, etc

Species Diversity/   10%/    10 points available. Total award based on
percentage of 44 available species represented
in your zoo

Zoo Beauty/   10%/    10 points available. Overall zoo aesthetic
calculation is unavailable

Zoo Value/   10%    10 points available. Scaled rating of: (Cash on
Hand)+(Sale Price of Total Zoo)/300
Zoo Research/   5%/    5 points available. Total award based on
percentage of research

100 points total.
Also follow the tips given by other members.

I have completed everything except getting my zoo rating up to 85. I do not understand why I can't get a zoo rating of at least 85. I have bathrooms, scenery objects, and food & drink stalls. I can only get my zoo rating to 80. How do I get it to 85?

Try switching the food stalls to restaurants. Guests don't like the trash too much. Also, try placing a few tour guides. And a few extra exhibits might cheer them up. Remember---happy animals=happy guests (at least most of the time!)

I have several exhibits in my zoo, all with very high suitability ratings (high 90's), but the objectives screen still says that my average suitability rating is not above 85. What's wrong?

Are you supposed to have specific animals in the zoo (it's been a while since I've done this scenario) ? If there are, you might be missing one. Or you might have 1 animal who's rating is below 85. I've had it before where an animal's suitability was at 0, I picked them up and placed them back right where they were and they were perfectly happy with their exhibit
