(has anyone gotten the paths to go that low? )

there's a little trick to get elevated paths that low, the minimum height of a flat elevated path is 2 (dont know what to call it, but it's 2) but mostly when you place elevated paths with height set to minimum (lower button greyed out) it's a path 3 heigh, the reason: just like normal paths and well, everything else you can build, elevated paths use a grid, even with hight, why is it forcing you to place a path 3 hight, the ground is higher then the gridline that serves as starting refference to determine the height of the bridge, thus keeping in mind an elevated path needs at least 2 gridlines height you're stuck with a bridge that seems 3 high, if you havent realised the solution by now: lower the ground. but keep in mind if you make the ground lower than the basegridline, the base goes down a gridline, so you're stuck with a 3 high elevated path again, just place it and raise the ground again, you cant raise it higher then 2 gridlines below the elevated path, leaving you with an elevated path of 2 high, the lowest you can get. this is how i see it anyway

oh for christ's sake, i did it again :pinch: let me rephrase the above in a simpler way: lower ground, place elevated path, raise ground.

Here are some pics of the very low elevated path.  All I do is place it, I don't have to do anything special.  Click here.

i came across that trick when i was making a rather large structure with elevated paths, the ground seemed perfectly level, but for some reason i couldn't place the path on several spots due to 'not enough headspace' although the ground did not seem higher than the places where i could place it. i first used the level tool to try and flatten the ground, it helped, but not always, so i found it easier to lower the ground a bit, build my path then raise it again. so ofcourse you can just place it, but it wont always be the lowest possible due to... well, read my previous post
